Bake Kujira is a Japanese
mythological monster, a YOKAI.
Its name means ghost whale.
It is the Japanese version of
Moby Dick.
When a Japanese fishing boat was wrecked it was blamed this animal
demon, because it was wearing out his revenge against the fishermen.
For this piece he has taken as
reference images by kurija bake mythology and have modeled a pixelated skeleton.
As the artwork presented complications in finding balances he took the decision
to close the art bringing together its head with its tail. Thus giving a loop sensation.
