In almost all the States of the planet military parades are celebrated, tests of armament, fairs of arms... An exaltation of the war power, the terror and the brute force.

It is estimated that more than one million children have died in the last ten years as a result of the wars. The number of children injured or disabled is three times greater, and countless the number of those suffering from diseases, malnutrition, sexual violence, psychological damage or exploitation as a result of armed conflicts. Others are imprisoned, forced to leave their country to survive or to join the armed forces becoming "child soldiers". Many are orphaned and unprotected. 1,000,000

Many other consequences can be added to this list. Faced with the horrors of war, children are subject to deep emotional traumas that mark them and change forever. These emotional wounds are difficult to heal and have serious repercussions in his future life. 1,000,000

The prevention of armed conflicts is the only way to improve the lives of these victims of war. 1,000,000

In the media, we continually hear how they tell us about the number of victims, a consequence of conflicts; numbers, numbers, numbers ... But, we reflect? Do we think what is behind all those numbers? How many illusions truncated? How many projects? How many dreams?

Maybe 1,000,000?

With this project we intend, through art and literature, to remember that there is a face and a life in each one of those 1,000,000 children murdered by human barbarism, to convey the absurdity and the harmfulness of the use of violence to resolve any conflict.

"With the war the properties of the landowners increase, the misery of the miserable increases, the speeches of the general increase, and the silence of the men grows."
 Bertolt Brecht

Silence makes us accomplices ....

 Bertolt Brecht

El silencio nos hace cómplices........

Tylluan.......the owl goddess from celtic mythology

To the Welsh, the Owl is a night predator -- the only bird capable of defeating the swift falcon and then only at dusk, its time of power. The Owl symbolizes death and renewal, wisdom, moon magick, and initiations. Their Goddess Arianrhod shapeshifts into a large Owl, and through the great Owl-eyes, sees even into the darkness of the human subconscious and soul. She is said to move with strength and purpose through the night, her wings of comfort and healing spread to give solace to those who seek her. A star and moon Goddess, Arianrhod was also called the Silver Wheel because the dead were carried on her Oar Wheel to Emania (the Moon-land or land of death), which belonged to her as a deity of reincarnation and karma.
