THE MAN WITH THE HAT

Joachim made this painting after a visit to Amsterdam. it's inspired by a photograph that Joachim made of a man who was fitting headwear in a souvenir shop in the tourist area of the city. The man who may have had a few drinks too many, had a smile that made Joachim immediately thought resembled that of the grimaces of his typical characters. If you look at the painting carefully you will find three x's which symbolize the coat of arms of Amsterdam.

TECHNIQUE: Spray paint and posca pens on canvas.

SINGER TOUCAN


There are so many species of toucans and their songs are so varied that there is no female in the world capable of resisting their claim. Many years ago, in La Planada (Nariño, Colombia) a toucan toned for hours a sound identical to my portable typewriter, which naturally went crazy with love and never worked again. I left her. That ocurred some years ago and now I don´t think that any toucan is free, and if there are, they will be mute not to be captured.

TECHNIQUE: Graphite on paper Horse 300 grs.

MEASURES: 70 x 100 cms.

Boundless Brooklyn Water Tower Model Kit

When Dorobanii's thefts began to suppose a problem for the economy of a small Japanese village, an old wandering monk was hired to seal the creature

He banished Dorobanii to a Water Tower on the outskirts of town, but although Dorobanii took the tower as a home, the seals did not really work.

NOTE: This Artwork is sold independently of the Illustration "The Small Slacker" ... but they form a set - a complementary story
