THE MAN WITH THE HAT
Joachim made this painting after a visit to Amsterdam. it's inspired by a photograph that Joachim made of a man who was fitting headwear in a souvenir shop in the tourist area of the city. The man who may have had a few drinks too many, had a smile that made Joachim immediately thought resembled that of the grimaces of his typical characters. If you look at the painting carefully you will find three x's which symbolize the coat of arms of Amsterdam.
TECHNIQUE: Spray paint and posca pens on canvas.
MEASURES: 100 x 70 cms.
