Starting from the classic New York water tank, the first thing I thought was that I did not want to limit myself to painting the piece; I was clear that I was going to make a robot, but I wanted to do something different from what I usually do, get out of my comfort zone, give it one more turn, one more turn... and in the end I turned it literally! I put it upside down and immediately came up with the idea of making a robot-spider that has a shell / camouflage classic NY water tank. I struggled to find a way to do the legs, looking for the way, I entered a hardware store and in the end I used tools as they are with their screws…I like of using everyday objects without modifying them.
TECHNIQUE: Kraft, Metal, Wood, Polymer Clay, Spray Paint and Acrylic on Boundless Brooklyn Water Tower Model Kit.
MEASURES: 60 x 66 x 44 cms.
