Over the centuries, shamanism has been the fundamental engine of environmental, social, cultural, economic and religious adaptation of indigenous communities. The CHAMAN is an intermediary with the owners of nature, an ecologist who manages and preserves the resources of the jungle. An intermediary between the natural and spiritual world, traveling between the worlds in a trance state. A communicator from the community with the spirits, who communicates with them to get help in healing, hunting or controlling time ...


A través de los siglos, el chamanismo ha sido el motor fundamental de la adaptación ambiental, social, cultural, económica y religiosa de las comunidades indígenas.  El CHAMAN es un intermediario con los dueños de la naturaleza, un ecólogo que gestiona y preserva los recursos de la selva. Un intermediario entre el mundo natural y espiritual, que viaja entre los mundos en un estado de trance. Un comunicador de la comunidad con los espíritus, que se comunica con ellos para conseguir ayuda en la curación, la caza o el control del tiempo…









GIOVANNI ACEVEDO aka NUKA is a plastic artist born in 1975 in the city of Medellin, Colombia, who has made innumerable interventions and exhibitions all over the world. His paintings and statues of clay reflect memories of the pre-Columbian past, complemented by everyday imagination. An authentic magical realism, where the memory of pre-Hispanic mythology embodied in the present is the essence of his paintings and sculptures.


GIOVANNI ACEVEDO aka NUKA es un artista plástico nacido en el año 1975 en la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia que ha realizado innumerables intervenciones y exposiciones por todo el mundo. Sus pinturas y estatuas de barro reflejan recuerdos del pasado pre-colombino, complementados con la imaginación cotidiana. Un auténtico realismo mágico, donde la memoria de la mitología pre-hispana plasmada en el presente es la esencia de sus pinturas y esculturas.
