Testimony of the artist: “When I was creating this collection I was
thinking on how books takes us to magical places meaning that our imagination
can fly just like a bird ,so my simple way of expression of combining a bird
and a book is to aloud you to think of that unique and magical place and
to let your self be transported ,to let your self create your own story as if
you can see with the eyes of the bird, all you need is to let your imagination
open up its wings and discover the magical worlds behind each of the titles.”
This series is born of the conviction by Art Toy Gama
Collective that the artist Alex from California, USA, aka ROOTED and STITCHED, is an artist with a special sensibility creating
a particular and magical Universe of textile creatures and characters with a distinct
singularity
