About #SupraGamaLimitedSERIES x6 by EMILIO SUBIRÁ: This series is born of
the conviction by Art Toy Gama Collective that the artist Emilio Subirá aka SICKEMIL
is one of the Spanish artists with the most international projection nowadays
within the artistic movement of the Art Toys.
An artist of a long career, with a background in Fine
Arts, who is a sculptor and painter, and who has an imagination like no other
to create continuously new characters that day by day enrich his own universe
so particular, and that it does not look like any other . Full of characters
who have a sinister point but at the same time attractive, which leaves no one
indifferent, because they have all a background, a story, that only someone
like him can arise.
Born in Seville, Spain, since we had, as an artistic Collective, the first
exhibition in November 2014, in Tolosa, with "The truth about
Pinocchio", there he has been accompanying us, surprising us, although we
know him more every day, but that's the way he is. Because he is no conformist.
He is always giving new twists to his stories made of "characters"
that one day are in one way, another in another way. With one material, with
another... No day is the same.
